Match the attachment and installation method
Rubber end caps for round tubing need a receiving profile that suits the actual tube end. A vinyl version may have different fitting behavior from a rubber version, so the material construction should be selected deliberately. Matching the visible diameter does not establish equivalent flexibility or retention.
Check the tube's outside profile and the length available before a bend, shoulder or fitting. The cap should seat without its inner wall being cut by a burr or damaged seam. The chosen material also needs to suit the expected exposure and any cleaning substances around the installation.
Evaluate the closure for its intended function rather than assuming a pressure or water-protection rating from end coverage. Inspect the rim after fitting and keep the cap clean when removed. Replace a part that has split or permanently widened with the intended configuration. A similar cap that stops at a different depth can change the contact length while leaving the end superficially covered in much the same way.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
