Caps for tubing cover the external profile at a tube end and should match that receiving surface. A flexible PVC construction and a rubber construction can have different fitting behavior, so the selected version needs to be defined rather than treated as a generic soft cap. Tube size alone does not determine the full profile.
Check engagement depth and any nearby shoulder, seam or projecting feature. The cap should reach its intended seat without being stretched across a sharp edge. Its material must suit the actual exposure and the purpose of the closure, including any cleaning substances.
Evaluate sealing separately where required; simple end coverage does not establish a pressure rating. Fit onto a clean surface and inspect the rim for a fold or uneven gap. During removal, use the intended grip rather than puncturing the cap with a tool. Replace a part that has split or permanently enlarged instead of assuming its continued ability to cover the tube means the original contact remains intact.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
