Rubber feet for ironing board legs provide replaceable contact surfaces beneath the frame. Size, color and material are customizable. Check their fit with the board opened normally, because the leg angle determines how each foot meets the floor.
When replacing a foot, compare the receiving cavity with the actual leg end. A tip that stops short can alter the effective height at that corner; one that sits crooked may contact the floor only at its edge. Inspect the frame end for burrs before seating the rubber.
Open and fold the board carefully after fitting to make sure the new part clears the moving frame. Keep the floor-contact surfaces free from lint, dust and cleaning residue. The ironing-board application does not make the foot a rest for a hot iron, and no direct-contact heat limit is assigned here. Replace a foot that loosens or wears through before using the board again.
