Round rubber flexible grommets line a circular cutout with a compliant boundary. Their purpose is to cushion cables against the panel edge, and ETOL offers changes to the structure, material, dimensions, hardness and color. The round profile should retain its intended shape after the wiring is placed.
If a cable approaches from one side, it can pull the inner opening away from the center. That movement may lift part of the retaining edge or concentrate rubbing at the opposite side. Review the cable's final support points so the grommet is not held under a continuous sideways load.
Choose the mounting diameter for the finished hole and the groove for the actual panel thickness. Flexibility assists installation but does not turn one size into a fit for several unrelated openings. Seat the rubber progressively and inspect it after a connector has passed through. A round hole that appears fully covered from the front may still have a folded lip behind the panel. Correct the seating before the cable obscures access to the passage.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If a cable approaches from one side, it can pull the inner opening away from the center. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
