Rubber foam balls can be custom made in different dimensions and colors for a defined product or assembly. The intended construction needs to be established alongside the visible shape. A cellular foam ball and a solid elastomer ball can behave differently, so color and diameter alone do not describe the component.
Define how the ball will be held, compressed, or contacted in the finished design. The selected material and internal structure should suit that role, including the expected environment. The outer size also needs to leave the required clearance if the ball fits within another part.
Check the finished component in the actual arrangement rather than judging its behavior only by squeezing it by hand. Avoid assuming a particular bounce, load capacity, or softness from the word rubber. If the ball is incorporated into a toy or another user-facing product, the complete product must meet the requirements of its intended use. Keep the surface clean with a method suited to the selected material and replace a damaged ball if tearing or deformation changes its fit.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A foam ball needs outside clearance appropriate to how the receiving part holds or compresses it. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
