Rubber grommet hole plugs let an unused opening be finished with a fitted rubber component. For an electrical assembly with several configuration options, distinguish that closed position from an entry that will carry wiring. The profiles should follow their respective duties rather than relying on the installer to modify a plug on the bench.
ETOL offers custom sizes, materials, hardness, colors and structures. Select the retained section around the actual panel thickness and inspect the opening before fitting. A plug should cover the cut edge without trapping loose wires beneath its flange.
Keep the center intact where closure is intended. If a wire must be added, use an appropriate cable-entry form and recheck the route behind the panel. After assembly, examine unused openings as well as wired ones; a loose blanking component can be overlooked when attention is focused on the harness. Remove a damaged plug carefully so torn rubber does not remain in the seat, and fit the replacement on a clean, unobstructed edge.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If a wire must be added, use an appropriate cable-entry form and recheck the route behind the panel. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
