A seal ring for an oil-exposed joint needs a compound selected for the particular fluid and operating conditions. Oilproof is not a single property that applies equally to every lubricant or additive. A change in service fluid or cleaning method can therefore require reconsideration of the original material choice.
Match the ring's dimensions and section to the receiving joint, including the intended compression and support. The rubber should not be pinched at an edge or left unsupported across an excessive gap. Any required sealing performance must be evaluated with the complete assembly.
Keep the ring and mating surfaces clean during fitting and avoid twisting the section into its seat. During servicing, inspect for swelling, cuts or permanent changes in shape. If deterioration appears after a process or fluid change, address that exposure before fitting the same ring again. A visually similar replacement should preserve the selected compound as well as the dimensions, since appearance alone does not establish equivalent behavior in the joint.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
