A rubber plug for fill hole use closes an access point that is opened when the assembly needs filling. Custom structure, material, dimensions, hardness, and color allow the plug to follow the opening and the intended handling method. Its exposed section should remain reachable after surrounding components are installed.
Consider the filling sequence. The removed plug needs a clean place to rest, and the opening should remain accessible without requiring the rubber to be bent against nearby hardware. The inserted section and any stopping feature should define a consistent closing position afterward.
Select the compound for the contents, including any residue that remains on the plug after filling. Before refitting, clear contamination from the contact region and check the opening edge for damage. Seat the plug squarely instead of forcing one side in first and leaving the other raised. During routine care, inspect the handling area and the portion inside the hole for tears or lasting deformation. Preserve the original fit when replacing the closure so that filling access and the intended seat remain unchanged.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Custom structure, material, dimensions, hardness, and color allow the plug to follow the opening and the intended handling method. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
