A black rubber protective cap covers an exposed feature that could otherwise be contacted during handling or storage. This custom cover can be shaped to fit the component while leaving enough grip for removal. Its internal depth should accommodate the feature without making the cap's closed end an unintended pressure point.
Consider what can brush against the cap during movement. A loose outer edge may catch on packaging or nearby equipment, while excessive interference may make removal disturb the protected component. The profile and material can be adjusted for the expected handling and exposure.
Before fitting, clear particles from inside the cap so they are not pressed against the covered surface. Check that the cap reaches its intended position and stays there through representative handling. When it is removed, inspect the inside for transferred debris or a concentrated contact mark. A durable cover still needs replacement when its wall is cut or its fit becomes loose. Store spare caps without forcing their openings into a distorted shape.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
