Product Overview

These rubber protector end caps are presented as a 13 mm square cover. A square fitting needs attention to the faces and the corner shape, because both influence how the rubber sits over the protected end. The nominal size should be checked against the intended mating dimension before selecting the finished part.

Measure the component across its flats and examine whether its corners are sharp, rounded or affected by a coating. A cap can fit the flat measurement yet stretch excessively at a corner. The available engagement length also matters: a nearby shoulder may prevent the cover reaching its intended position. Custom size, material and color options can be used to suit that relationship.

Align the corners before pushing the cap on instead of rotating it under tension. Remove sharp burrs so they cannot cut into the interior during fitting. Once seated, inspect the mouth for one side remaining higher than the others. For later removal, work the cover off evenly rather than pulling one corner until the wall turns inside out.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. A cap can fit the flat measurement yet stretch excessively at a corner.
Custom geometry
The nominal size should be checked against the intended mating dimension before selecting the finished part.
Fit evaluation
Remove sharp burrs so they cannot cut into the interior during fitting.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM identification positioned outside closure contact surfaces.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
