Product Overview

Custom rubber tips for trivet feet cover the small supports that separate a trivet from the surface beneath it. Each tip needs to stay on its foot and meet the supporting surface as intended, so the socket and base profile matter even on a small component.

ETOL can customize the dimensions, material, hardness and color. Select the compound for the temperature it will actually experience in the trivet arrangement. The temperature of cookware above the trivet is not necessarily the temperature at the rubber, and the design should be evaluated in use rather than assumed suitable from the material name alone.

Also check the space around each foot. A tip pressed tightly against another part of the trivet may not seat as intended, even if its socket fits the small support correctly.

Fit the tips with the trivet cool and unloaded. Check that all feet reach their seating depth and that no small end has pierced or excessively stretched the rubber. Place the trivet on a clean, level surface and inspect for rocking. Remove grit from the contact faces during cleaning, then confirm that the tips are still retained before the trivet is used again. Replace a missing or split piece promptly.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Fit the tips with the trivet cool and unloaded.
Custom profile & fit
Each tip needs to stay on its foot and meet the supporting surface as intended, so the socket and base profile matter even on a small component.
Assembly considerations
A tip pressed tightly against another part of the trivet may not seat as intended, even if its socket fits the small support correctly.
Design check
Select the compound for the temperature it will actually experience in the trivet arrangement.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
