A Solid Rubber Tube Plug closes a designated tube opening with an uninterrupted molded body. The retained diameter and length should follow the finished bore, including any internal seam or change in shape near the end. Tube outside size alone does not define that interface.
Custom structure, material, dimensions, hardness and color can suit the application. Select the compound for the contents or residues at the closure and the intended service conditions. A solid push fit does not automatically establish a pressure-rated connection.
Prepare the tube end before fitting, removing rough edges that could cut the plug during insertion. Seat it in line with the bore and keep the designed removal area accessible. During servicing, follow the equipment's isolation procedure and inspect the contacting body after removal. If the plug has a persistent cut or groove, examine the corresponding tube feature before fitting a replacement so the new part does not encounter the same damaging edge.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The retained diameter and length should follow the finished bore, including any internal seam or change in shape near the end. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
