Product Overview

A screw suction cup combines a flexible contact cup with a mechanical attachment point. The screw connection lets a bracket or other mating component connect to the cup, while the rim forms the interface against the target surface. Custom dimensions can accommodate the chosen fixture, but the threaded connection and the suction face need to be considered separately.

Start with the screw size, usable thread length, and space available around the mounting boss. The mating hardware should engage correctly without applying a twisting load to the flexible cup. A bracket that sits at an angle can pull on one side of the rim even when the screw itself is secure.

The contact surface should offer a smooth, continuous area large enough for the entire lip. Seams, rough texture, dust, and curvature can interrupt the seal. During assembly, keep the rim relaxed and avoid trapping debris underneath it. If the cup connects to an active vacuum arrangement, match its connection and operating movement to that system.

Cup diameter alone does not establish the usable holding load. Assess the assembled fixture in its intended orientation, including side forces and release behavior. Detach by releasing the suction interface rather than pulling hard on the screw, and replace a cup whose lip has become cut or distorted.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. A screw suction cup combines a flexible contact cup with a mechanical attachment point.
Custom geometry
Start with the screw size, usable thread length, and space available around the mounting boss.
Fit evaluation
Assess the assembled fixture in its intended orientation, including side forces and release behavior.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
