A self adhesive protective pad places a rubber layer on a suitable surface without a separate mechanical locating hole. The shape should follow the area where contact occurs, rather than covering nearby features simply because extra space is available. A well-positioned pad can separate two rigid parts while keeping service access clear.
Mark the contact footprint and check that the backing has a continuous mounting surface beneath it. A recess, seam or textured patch can leave part of the pad unsupported. The compound and adhesive should be selected for both the substrate and the normal contact conditions.
ETOL offers custom dimensions, material, hardness and color. Fit a sample according to the selected backing's application requirements, then inspect its position after normal use. Watch for an edge being caught by the moving or contacting part. Keep dirt away from the exposed rubber and check for adhesive lift during maintenance. If a pad is removed, assess the substrate before installing another rather than assuming the old bond area needs no preparation.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
