A custom rubber o-ring fits a defined sealing groove or joint using its inner diameter and circular section. EPDM, NBR, FKM, and silicone are material options for different conditions. The intended medium and temperature should guide the formulation, while the joint geometry determines the required dimensions and support.
Establish the groove and mating surfaces before selecting hardness. The ring should sit without being twisted or stretched into an unsuitable diameter, and the closing parts should apply the intended compression. Cleaning substances and maintenance exposure belong in the material assessment alongside the normal process medium. Place the ring on clean surfaces and protect it from sharp edges during assembly. Inspect the completed joint under its intended conditions rather than assigning a universal pressure or temperature capability from the material name. After disassembly, check the rubber's condition and preserve the exact section and formulation during replacement. A ring that fits the same outer space may still have a different working relationship with the groove.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
