A Silicone Rubber O Ring forms an annular seal when it is matched to the appropriate groove and mating component. The internal diameter and cross section should be selected together, since stretching the ring to reach a groove changes the section presented to the joint.
Silicone, EPDM and other compounds are separate material choices. For oil contact, select the specific formulation around the actual fluid and service conditions rather than assuming all listed rubber families share the same resistance. ETOL can customize dimensions, hardness and color for the required version.
Check the groove for damage and residue before placing the ring. Fit it evenly without leaving a twisted section, and use the assembly method specified for the equipment. After the mating part is installed, evaluate sealing through the required operating checks. Keep replacement rings identified by compound and dimensions so a visually similar ring from another configuration is not substituted during maintenance. Inspect removed rings for changes in section before using them as a measurement reference.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
