A silicone button rubber keypad forms a flexible control surface within a compatible enclosure. When water exclusion is required, the molded perimeter and key movement must be developed with the housing. The rubber cannot be evaluated independently of the surfaces that retain and surround it.
Identify where the perimeter is intended to make contact and where each key needs clearance to move. Excessive pressure on the retained edge can affect button travel, while insufficient seating can leave a local gap. Check the layout after the complete case is secured.
Evaluate the finished interface under the intended exposure and operating conditions. Press the keys in their normal directions while checking that the rubber returns without lifting or dragging at an opening. During assembly, keep the mating boundary free from dirt and trapped wiring. For maintenance, inspect the perimeter as well as the visible button faces. Restoring a displaced edge should include correcting whatever pulled it out of position. Use the intended profile and formulation for a replacement so the housing contact and key movement remain coordinated.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
