A silicone elastomer conductive button keypad operates as part of a matching electrical contact arrangement. The conductive areas and key movement must align with that pattern so the intended control responds when pressed. The molded sheet should also fit the enclosure without a key edge being held down or dragged sideways.
Develop the layout and contact positions using the actual board and housing stack. Check the clearance around each moving key after the panel is assembled. A conductive construction does not define a particular contact resistance, travel or switching life on its own; those characteristics need evaluation in the selected design.
Keep the contact side protected during assembly and avoid touching it with contaminated tools. Test the finished keypad using realistic press locations and sequences, checking both activation and return. During maintenance, inspect for residue, wear and alignment changes before assuming a response problem comes only from the rubber hardness. Any replacement should retain the specified contact geometry as well as the visible key layout.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
