Custom silicone switch buttons can use different exposed shapes within a membrane-switch keypad layout. The differences should support the intended controls while the underside of each button remains coordinated with its contact position and available travel.
Develop the complete arrangement using the actual panel. Check that a taller or wider key does not restrict access to its neighbors or rub against the enclosure during an off-center press. The supporting sheet should locate consistently without being stretched to align the various shapes.
Evaluate the assembled interface through realistic sequences between the controls. Look for differences caused by housing clearance as well as the molded profiles. The electrical response depends on the chosen contact arrangement and should be assessed with that system. During maintenance, keep replacement layouts matched to the designated functions and underside positions. A set of buttons with the same visible shapes can still be unsuitable if their locating features or contact geometry differ from the original panel configuration.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The differences should support the intended controls while the underside of each button remains coordinated with its contact position and available travel. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
