Product Overview

A Silicone Gasket Seal Ring provides a custom annular sealing interface, with nitrile rubber O-ring options also identified for this product family. Those material choices should remain explicit when selecting the finished part. A shared circular outline does not make different rubber compounds equivalent in the same joint.

Establish the ring's inside size, section and intended compressed position. Check whether the mating feature retains it around the full circumference or only supports it between faces. Choose the compound for the substances and temperature encountered there, and evaluate any proposed alternative using the actual assembly. Custom dimensions and color can suit the selected construction. During fitting, settle the ring without twists or local stretching and keep the contact faces clear of particles. Inspect a removed ring for cuts at the bore and changes in its section. If the seal has shifted or extruded from its seat, review the joint geometry before replacing it with a visually similar ring of another material.

Material options
NBR / Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. During fitting, settle the ring without twists or local stretching and keep the contact faces clear of particles.
Custom dimensions
Establish the ring's inside size, section and intended compressed position.
Fit & assembly
Check whether the mating feature retains it around the full circumference or only supports it between faces.
Use & inspection
Inspect a removed ring for cuts at the bore and changes in its section.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
