A silicone protective cover can be custom molded as a round cap for an end feature or opening. The internal profile should follow the receiving surface, including any lip, taper, or seating shoulder. The outer diameter alone does not determine how the cover fits.
Check the available insertion length and the accessible edge for removal. The cap should seat without being overstretched or stopped before its retaining area engages. For food-contact use, select the exact compound for the substance, temperature, duration, and cleaning process involved rather than relying on a general food-grade description.
Keep the cover interior and receiving surface clean before fitting. Inspect the edge for rolling or uneven contact after installation. The complete assembly determines any sealing or handling requirements; a round rubber cover is not automatically a pressure-rated closure. During reuse, examine the contact surface for tears or permanent deformation and replace a loose cap with the matching profile. Avoid using extra stretching to make an unsuitable cover remain on the receiving feature.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The internal profile should follow the receiving surface, including any lip, taper, or seating shoulder. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
