Silicone rubber sealing plugs close matching openings with a flexible inserted part. This range is customizable in size, material and color, allowing the plug geometry to follow the opening and intended removal method. The high-temperature wording should be applied to the selected compound and process conditions rather than treated as one limit covering every listed material.
When a plug is used around heat, account for the full sequence: insertion, exposure, cooling and removal. The portion available to grasp should remain accessible after surrounding parts are assembled. Check that the plug does not bottom against an internal feature before its sealing region engages.
Choose the operating range for the actual plug formulation, including both exposure time and the temperature at the seating surface. Evaluate the fitted closure through the intended process. Remove the plug only under the handling conditions appropriate to the completed process. Examine its contact region for distortion or adhering residue before reuse. A plug that no longer returns to its intended shape should be replaced rather than driven deeper to recover a tight fit.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
