A self-adhesive rubber bumper pad molded in silicone establishes a contact point between parts that close toward one another. Its height should be chosen around the final closing gap so the pad is engaged at the intended moment. An oversized bumper can prevent a latch or adjacent face from reaching its proper position, while an undersized one may receive no contact at all.
Place the pad where force meets it broadly rather than scraping across a thin edge. The underlying bonding surface needs enough area and flatness to support that contact. Match the adhesive to the substrate, temperature, and cleaning exposure around the joint.
Fit the bumper on a prepared surface and keep it in its planned location while the bond develops under the selected adhesive conditions. Close the assembly gently at first to confirm the contact point and surrounding clearances. If the pad takes a permanent uneven shape or begins peeling, examine the closing alignment before replacing it. Keep the exposed surface clear of grit that could be pressed into the adjoining finish.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
