Small rubber feet can be customized for furniture and compact equipment, but each application needs its own mounting fit. A chair leg and a laptop base present very different support areas, loads, and clearances. The useful dimensions are those of the intended seat and the finished contact height.
For a compact electronic product, check whether the foot sits in a recess and how much of it projects below the housing. The installed part should preserve access to covers and openings. For a furniture support, the relationship between the leg end and the floor contact needs particular attention, including any angle at which the leg rests.
Choose the attachment arrangement for the actual base rather than adapting a similar looking foot by force. All supports should work together to keep the item stable under its normal load. Keep contact faces clean and inspect them after movement. If a replacement changes the stance, compare its working height and seating depth with the intended design before adjusting other components.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
