Small silicone keypads for industrial equipment need a layout that fits the panel while remaining accessible in the equipment's installed position. Small molded silicone keys can suit a restricted control area, but their spacing, exposed height, and identification should reflect how operators will actually reach and press them.
Consider the surrounding enclosure and any nearby handles, guards, or displays. These features can limit the angle of approach to an otherwise well-spaced button. If gloves are part of normal operation, evaluate the intended glove rather than assuming a compact keypad will remain easy to use with any hand covering.
The switching components and molded part must align without the enclosure constraining key travel. Assess the finished control assembly for independent operation and clear release, including after the housing is secured. Service access should permit removal without pulling on a small key or scraping its underside against board components. The buttons alone do not establish an environmental protection rating or a safety-control function; those requirements belong to the complete equipment design and its verification.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
