Buttons with conductive carbon pill features need the supporting structure to preserve both their pressed and released positions. The pill must meet its intended circuit area during actuation, then clear it when the user releases the key. Housing pressure on the flexible section can interfere with that separation.
Define the board distance and key seating around the complete molded profile. A cover that presses unevenly on the sheet can change one button's rest gap while neighboring controls remain normal. The contact and silicone formulation require evaluation for the actual input arrangement, without an assumed resistance or cycle-life value.
Check operation after final enclosure fastening and after any servicing that moves the board. Handle conductive areas cleanly and keep residue out of the contact cavity. A slow or incomplete release should prompt inspection for mechanical restriction before the button is pressed harder. Replace a damaged locating or flexible section when it no longer maintains the intended relationship between the key and its circuit target.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
