A transparent silicone electrical grommet creates a flexible cable boundary with a clear appearance. Small custom versions should match the complete panel and wire interface so they seat without stretching. The material's transparency also makes the surfaces behind and beneath the part relevant to the finished look.
Keep particles off the grommet and cutout during assembly. A fragment under the flange can remain visible and interrupt local contact. Guide the retaining edge into position without pushing a pointed tool against the center or thin lip.
Check the wire after it is routed to its final support. The cable should not draw the small clear part away from the panel as an internal connection is made. Choose the formulation for the equipment's environment and any applicable electrical requirements as part of the complete design. During service, inspect the clear body for cuts or distortion and restore its original orientation. A similarly sized transparent piece should not replace the specified grommet unless its groove and passage also match the intended interface.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The cable should not draw the small clear part away from the panel as an internal connection is made. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
