Colorful silicone grommets provide a custom molded interface around wire openings with a visible color choice. The color can coordinate with a housing or distinguish entry locations, while the dimensions determine the actual panel and wire fit. These two aspects should remain linked to the intended assembly.
Check the receiving opening and finished wall thickness before choosing the retaining profile. The wire passage also needs to suit the actual jacket or bundle. A matching color does not establish that two grommets have the same bore or groove dimensions.
Fit the insert into a clean, smooth opening and inspect the perimeter after the wiring is routed. Keep enough slack so the cable does not pull the colored face out of position. During service, maintain the intended association between color and entry location, but verify the full profile when replacing a part. Remove surface dirt gently so the visible identification remains clear and the retaining edge stays easy to inspect for damage.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A matching color does not establish that two grommets have the same bore or groove dimensions. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
