A silicone keypad with rubber push buttons offers a flexible finger contact surface, but softness at the top does not by itself define operating force or travel. Those properties depend on the molded moving section, its support, and the switching component beneath it. The complete arrangement should be selected for the intended user action.
Consider the exposed cap height and the space available inside the enclosure. A soft cap that tilts or rubs against the opening may feel less consistent than a properly guided one. The surrounding body should remain located while the button moves, and the underside must meet the switch at its designed position.
Try centered and off-center presses after the housing is secured. Check for free return and whether repeated operation changes the part's seating. Material selection should reflect the actual exposure and cleaning conditions rather than the price description. For care, avoid picking at the gap with a sharp tool; the thin flexible region hidden below the panel can be damaged while the broad visible cap still appears intact.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
