Product Overview

A solid rubber tire provides a rubber rolling surface without a pneumatic cavity. This custom component can be developed around the wheel or hub that supports it, with dimensions, color and compound options selected for the intended equipment. The tire and support should work together as one rolling assembly.

Check the receiving diameter and the way the tire is retained. A ring that fits over a hub may still migrate sideways unless its profile agrees with the wheel's locating features. The outside diameter and width also need clearance from the surrounding frame throughout rotation.

Evaluate rolling behavior under the intended load and on the actual running surface. Material hardness and tire section affect how the surface deforms at contact, so a loose sample does not show the final response. The selected version should have the dimensions and operating characteristics required by its equipment.

During fitting, keep the tire seated evenly around the circumference. Rotate the wheel to inspect for a raised area, sideways movement or rubbing on nearby hardware. Remove embedded debris during maintenance and inspect the interface with the hub if uneven wear develops. Replacing only the visible rubber should preserve the original wheel geometry and retention arrangement.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Material hardness and tire section affect how the surface deforms at contact, so a loose sample does not show the final response.
Custom dimensions
The outside diameter and width also need clearance from the surrounding frame throughout rotation.
Fit & assembly
The tire and support should work together as one rolling assembly.
Use & inspection
Remove embedded debris during maintenance and inspect the interface with the hub if uneven wear develops.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
