Square molded rubber cable grommets provide a shaped protective interface where wiring passes through a plate. The outer border should follow the square cutout and its corner geometry while the cable remains inside the intended central passage.
ETOL can customize the material, dimensions, color and structure. Compare the finished panel thickness, side lengths and corner radii with the mounting profile. Leave surrounding space for the flange rather than allowing a neighboring fastener or fold to hold one side above the seat.
Work around the perimeter during fitting and check all four corners before the wire is routed. A folded corner can remain hidden beneath a broad face while leaving the retained section incomplete. Inspect the square border again after the harness is connected and supported. During maintenance, release the lip carefully without levering sharply at a corner. Clean the opening before refitting and replace a damaged profile instead of rotating it to move a torn corner away from the most visible side of the assembly.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The outer border should follow the square cutout and its corner geometry while the cable remains inside the intended central passage. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
