A locking vacuum suction cup requires both a sound sealing contact and correct operation of its locking arrangement. The lock helps maintain the intended fitted condition, but it cannot compensate for a lip resting across a surface defect or for contamination beneath the cup.
Choose a position with enough uninterrupted area for the complete sealing rim. Check the surface texture, curvature, and condition before engagement. The locking control also needs room to move through its intended action without striking an adjacent object or being inadvertently operated during use. Do not infer a universal holding load from the presence of a lock.
Assess retention in the actual application, including the direction of force and the consequences of release. A pull away from the surface differs from a force that starts peeling the rim at one edge. Inspect the cup and mechanism before reuse, and follow the designed release action rather than levering against the sealing lip. If the cup repeatedly loses its fitted condition, investigate the surface and complete assembly instead of applying greater locking force indiscriminately.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
