Match the attachment and installation method
A phone suction cup needs a smooth, compatible contact area on the phone or its approved mounting surface. A textured case, raised camera area or curved back can interrupt the sealing edge. The dimensions of the pad should be compared with that available area before the attachment is used.
Test the complete mount and intended phone configuration. The case and any surface coating are part of the contact, so changing them can change retention. Observe the direction of force when the device is adjusted or removed; a long mounting arm may introduce leverage at the cup rim.
ETOL offers custom geometry, material, hardness and color. Retention should be evaluated under the actual orientation and handling conditions instead of inferred from the cup's appearance. Keep the contact surfaces clean using methods suitable for both materials.
Remove the phone's load before releasing the cup, and admit air at the edge rather than pulling against the device. Check the rim for lint or damage before reuse. A pad that no longer makes continuous contact should not be relied on simply because it remains partly attached at rest.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The case and any surface coating are part of the contact, so changing them can change retention. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
