Custom EPDM small grommets protect a designated passage through an opening. Their compact profile needs to match the panel and routed item while using a material selected for the equipment's actual environmental and flame-performance requirements.
A fireproof description does not establish an absolute protection level or a specific flame class for the supplied configuration. Define the required compound and evaluate it within the relevant assembly conditions. The groove, bore and exposed flanges should also suit the finished opening without being stretched into position.
During installation, inspect the small retaining features under suitable lighting and check the fit again after the cable is routed. Keep sharp edges and nearby heat-producing components clear as required by the equipment design. During replacement, preserve the specified material as well as the dimensions. Substituting another small ring solely because it fits the hole can change the material behavior that the complete assembly was intended to provide.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The groove, bore and exposed flanges should also suit the finished opening without being stretched into position. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
