These rubber pads with adhesive backed construction can be shaped to fit the available bonding area on a component. A useful outline follows the support surface without leaving corners or narrow tabs exposed to accidental peeling. The contact footprint on the opposite side can then be selected around the separation or cushioning needed by the finished assembly.
Check the real surface beneath the pad, including curvature, recesses, and texture. Adhesive contact becomes incomplete if the pad bridges a hollow area, even when the outside edge appears aligned. Choose the rubber thickness and adhesive system together so the bonded part can work under its intended load and environment.
Apply to a suitably prepared surface and press across the entire footprint using the selected adhesive's fitting conditions. Avoid touching the bonding face or repeatedly lifting it to correct alignment. After installation, inspect edges that may be brushed during handling. If a custom shape repeatedly peels at one corner, revising that exposed outline can be more effective than simply enlarging the whole pad.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
