An automotive pipe sleeve made with a custom silicone rubber grommet profile should fit the mating opening and routed component together. The sleeve needs to remain aligned after the surrounding supports are secured, particularly where a comparatively rigid tube can pull the rubber sideways.
ETOL can adapt dimensions, material, hardness and color. Define the outside contact at the opening and the inside contact with the pipe or cable. Select the compound for the actual vehicle exposure and evaluate any required moisture exclusion in the completed assembly.
Fit the sleeve without using it to correct a misaligned route. Adjust the supports or mating geometry before tightening surrounding hardware. Inspect the flexible body for a fold or point pressed against a sharp bracket, and check the flange once all nearby parts are installed. During servicing, release the routed component's supports appropriately so removal does not tear the rubber at its base. Replace a damaged sleeve after correcting the alignment issue rather than expecting another flexible part to absorb the same offset continuously.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The sleeve needs to remain aligned after the surrounding supports are secured, particularly where a comparatively rigid tube can pull the rubber sideways. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
