Match the attachment and installation method
A custom automotive ceiling grommet cushions wiring where it crosses an overhead opening. Support the harness during fitting so its weight does not pull the rubber down before the retaining profile has engaged around the panel.
ETOL can customize the dimensions, material, hardness and color. Match the profile to the actual surface that retains it, including any trim or layered section at the opening. Keep the visible flange clear of hardware that would prevent it from resting naturally.
Seat the grommet while access allows inspection behind the entry, then secure the harness independently. Recheck the lip after the overhead trim and neighboring components are fitted. A cover may redirect the cable even when the rubber was correctly positioned at an earlier stage. Choose the compound for the actual thermal, cleaning and environmental exposure in the vehicle. During service, release the cable carefully rather than letting a loosened harness hang from the grommet. Inspect for displaced rubber before the trim conceals the entry again.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A cover may redirect the cable even when the rubber was correctly positioned at an earlier stage. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
