A bottle seal rubber plug closes a bottle opening with a custom molded silicone component. The body, exposed head and hardness can be developed around the intended bottle and its contents. The dimensions inside the neck are particularly useful because they determine where the inserted section meets the container.
Check beyond the visible mouth. A neck may narrow, widen or include a short internal step below the rim, changing the useful insertion depth. The plug should reach its intended contact area while leaving enough exposed material for controlled removal. A large head that rests on the rim too early can prevent the body from seating as designed. Keep the neck and plug clean, and inspect a glass mouth for chips before closing it. Select the silicone formulation for the actual contents and cleaning process. When several bottle types are used together, keep each closure associated with its defined neck geometry; a plug that appears to fit another bottle may contact at a different depth and behave differently during removal.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A neck may narrow, widen or include a short internal step below the rim, changing the useful insertion depth. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
