A Waterproof rubber wire grommet provides a shaped cable interface that should remain stable as the surrounding assembly is completed. Fitting a nearby bracket, cover or connector can change the wire direction and disturb contacts that looked even at the initial installation.
ETOL offers custom dimensions, compound, hardness and color. Select the bore around the finished jacket and the mounting profile around the actual opening. Leave the flange clear of neighboring hardware so it can sit against its intended surface without a local obstruction.
Inspect the entry after each assembly step that changes the cable route. If the wire is pushed sideways, adjust its support or clearance rather than pressing the rubber back while the cause remains. Evaluate the required moisture exclusion with the final configuration in place. During later servicing, remove particles from the entry before moving the lead through it. Check the cable covering and rubber together for damage, especially where a formerly tight bend may have concentrated contact against one side of the bore.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. If the wire is pushed sideways, adjust its support or clearance rather than pressing the rubber back while the cause remains. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
