Product Overview

Rubber chair tips offer a replaceable contact component for furniture legs of different sizes. A useful replacement matches the leg interface as well as the visible shape. Two tips with similar external dimensions may have different internal depths or wall thicknesses, so appearance alone is not a reliable guide to fit.

Measure an undamaged leg and compare all chairs that will receive the part. Mixed furniture sets can contain small differences that are difficult to notice until assembly. Keep sizes identified during fitting, and check that each tip seats to the intended depth without being forced over a sharp or oversized edge.

Evaluate the completed chair for level contact and secure retention when lifted. A replacement on one corner should not leave the chair supported unevenly by worn tips elsewhere. Clean dirt from the floor contact surfaces and inspect for splitting around the leg opening. Where a tip repeatedly loosens, examine the leg geometry and actual movement before choosing a smaller size that may simply overstress the rubber.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Compare firmness under load at the intended contact face. Two tips with similar external dimensions may have different internal depths or wall thicknesses, so appearance alone is not a reliable guide to fit.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
