A Wire protection grommet lines a round opening to keep the cable covering away from the hard cut edge. The custom rubber profile needs to fit the panel and leave a suitable passage for the cable. Its retained position should remain stable when the cable is brought into its final direction beyond the opening.
Check the bend immediately beside the panel after nearby supports are fastened. A lead that passes through easily while straight can press strongly against one side once routed. Provide the intended bend space and keep the grommet from becoming the point that carries the whole routing force. Structure, material, dimensions, hardness and color are customizable. Seat the groove around the complete cutout before moving the cable, then inspect for a lip being drawn inward. If an entry also needs sealing, evaluate the cable interface as well as the panel fit. During service, look beneath the cable for wear that may be concealed by its normal resting position.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The custom rubber profile needs to fit the panel and leave a suitable passage for the cable. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
