A rubber anti-vibration bumper gives furniture components a compliant meeting point instead of allowing their rigid surfaces to touch directly. This custom part is intended for a furniture layout that needs a particular shape, whether the available contact area is narrow, offset, or interrupted by surrounding construction. Its profile should suit the way the two surfaces approach one another.
The closed position deserves as much attention as the impact itself. An excessively tall bumper can leave a visible gap, alter the alignment of adjoining surfaces, or place continuous pressure on a closure.
