Special shape rubber feet can follow the available space beneath industrial equipment when a standard circular pad would overlap a rib, recess, or nearby fitting. Their purpose is to create deliberate support areas within the equipment base layout. The outline is custom made, allowing the seating surface and surrounding clearance to be considered together.
A useful starting point is the actual underside of the equipment. Identify which surfaces can support a foot and which openings must remain accessible. A shape that fits an empty base may obstruct a screw once the equipment is assembled, so tool access belongs in the layout review. The final support height also affects ventilation space and the reach of adjacent connections; it should be assessed with the complete unit standing on its intended surface.
Several rubber materials and color options are available for customization. Choose the compound around the environment at the base and its required deformation under the equipment. During fitting, position each shaped foot consistently. Reversing an asymmetric part can leave a corner unsupported even when its overall dimensions appear correct.
