Rubber speaker mounts introduce a compliant connection at the speaker's support points. Their effect depends on the cabinet, supporting furniture and selected rubber geometry, so placement should begin with a stable mechanical arrangement. The word anti-vibration does not define a particular audible improvement or reduction in transmitted movement.
Consider the number of mounts and the load each will carry. A very lightly loaded support can behave differently from the same part compressed beneath a heavier cabinet. The mounting surfaces should keep the rubber aligned rather than let it roll or bend sideways during ordinary adjustments.
Evaluate the installed speaker in its normal position and operating range. If a shelf or loose fitting is the main source of unwanted movement, adding rubber alone may not address it. Keep the cabinet secure while checking alternative mounting positions. Over time, inspect the supports for permanent lean or flattening and confirm that the speaker still rests on all intended contact points without a corner touching the surrounding furniture.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A very lightly loaded support can behave differently from the same part compressed beneath a heavier cabinet. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
