Custom rubber solid plugs can be molded in different shapes for openings that need a closed body. EPDM and NBR versions should be chosen according to the finished compound and working conditions. The outline and insertion profile should follow the hole rather than being selected from the exposed top alone.
Compare the opening along its depth. A shaped mouth, internal step or limited clearance can determine which section of the plug makes contact. For noncircular forms, check corners and changes in width as well as the main dimensions. The body should seat naturally without being twisted or stretched into position.
Wear inspection should focus on the regions that rub during fitting and removal. Remove sharp debris from the mating surface and avoid using a hard tool against the plug's contact edge. If a repeated wear mark appears at one location, review the hole geometry before changing material. Custom color can distinguish profiles, but replacement should preserve the working shape and compound requirements associated with that opening.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. A shaped mouth, internal step or limited clearance can determine which section of the plug makes contact. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
