Product Overview

A silicone thin washer fits an interface where the available section height is limited. Custom sizing allows the inner and outer boundaries to match the mating components. The washer needs an appropriately supported seat so that it stays flat as the joint closes.

Handle a thin section with care during positioning. Sliding it across a rough surface or pulling one edge into place can create a wrinkle that remains hidden beneath the mating part. Align the center opening first, then check the rest of the contact region before closure.

Choose the silicone formulation for the temperature and substances at the joint. Water-related service should be evaluated with the complete assembly, including the compression applied to the washer. Extra tightening is not a substitute for the correct section thickness or an undamaged mating face. During replacement, remove deposits from the seat and inspect the old washer for pinched regions. Keep new washers flat and separated from sharp hardware until they are installed, preserving their edges and original shape.

Material options
Silicone. Custom formulation and color for the intended contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A. Assess firmness with the silicone sealing layer laid smoothly in its seat; a concealed wrinkle changes local compression independently of grade.

Fit & assembly

Use & inspection

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
