A round rubber washer forms an annular contact between mating components. Centering matters because the ring needs to remain supported around its circumference while leaving the intended passage clear. A washer displaced slightly during closure can intrude into the opening on one side and lose support on the other.
Choose the inner and outer diameters with the actual seating faces in view. The thickness should suit the available space and intended compression. If a fastener or central feature helps locate the ring, check that it does not stretch or cut the inner edge during assembly.
Before tightening, make sure the washer lies flat and remains in position as the components meet. Assess any sealing requirement in the complete connection using the selected formulation and intended medium. On disassembly, inspect the compression pattern for evidence of off-center seating or local extrusion. A repeated uneven pattern can reveal a locating or support issue that is more useful to address than simply replacing the ring with another of the same outside diameter.

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
