An adhesive rubber bumper pad attaches a flexible contact to a selected surface. Custom dimensions, compound and color let the pad match the space and appearance of the assembly. Its thickness establishes part of the gap where the mating component rests or closes. ETOL makes the adhesive bumper pad to the required outline and thickness, with the contact surface and backing selected for the receiving material.
When replacing a worn bumper, check the original mounting surface and remove the old backing completely. Leaving an adhesive layer or a fragment of rubber underneath can raise the new contact and change how the assembly closes. Use the intended pad section rather than simply matching its outside outline.
Prepare the substrate for the selected adhesive and position the pad without stretching its edges. The whole backing should be supported, with the working contact landing on the rubber face. Inspect the perimeter after initial use for lifting caused by sideways rubbing. Keep debris off the face so it does not mark the mating surface. If the pad repeatedly peels at one corner, review the contact direction and surface preparation before replacing it again. A correct fit should keep the bumper's height and position stable in its intended role.
