A Rubber stopper for hole closure can be customized with a silicone construction for a selected food related application. The intended contact region should be clear in the design, including whether contents touch only the inserted end or a wider area during use. That helps determine the finished material and practical cleaning requirements.
Match the opening profile and insertion depth without leaving an inaccessible residue trap at the rim. Keep enough grip exposed for removal without a tool near the contact surface. Select the finished compound for the actual contents, temperature and care method; a general food grade label does not define every use. Trial the closure on the real component and check its seating after removal and cleaning. Allow hidden recesses to dry before storage, and keep the working surface away from dirty external parts while the stopper is out. A cut in the contact band or a permanently distorted profile should prompt replacement rather than repeated stretching to restore the original fit.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The intended contact region should be clear in the design, including whether contents touch only the inserted end or a wider area during use. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
