Product Overview

An Anti vibration grommet with four holes provides a custom rubber component with multiple passages in one retained body. Each hole needs to be matched to its intended wire or component, while the rubber between the holes must remain suitable for the assembled arrangement. The outer mounting fit should be evaluated independently of those internal passages.

Lay out all four routed items in their final positions before choosing the pattern. Their approach directions can pull the shared body unevenly if one item enters at a steep angle or is supported much farther away than the others. Check the space between passages and the perimeter so the rubber is not forced to fold as the items are installed.

The product can be customized in size, material and color, with hardness options from 30 to 90 Shore A. Keep the assignment of each passage clear during a fit trial. A correct outer fit does not ensure that two similar holes can be used interchangeably when their internal geometry differs.

Install the retained body without trapping a wire beneath its lip. Then route the individual items in the intended sequence and assess the shared part again once their supports are secured. Look for one passage pulling another out of alignment. If sealing or controlled vibration behavior is required, evaluate the complete four-hole assembly with its actual contents.

During service, inspect unused openings as well as occupied ones. An empty passage changes the closure arrangement and should be addressed by the intended design. Avoid cutting away the rubber between holes to merge them, since that changes the geometry supporting the surrounding items.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
